Dice → Seed
This tool turns throws of a real six-sided die into a Bitcoin recovery phrase (12 or 24 words). It can also show BIP84 bc1… addresses, an account zpub, and a SeedQR string if you ask.
It does not use the network. It does not write files. You type face values 1–6. The counter moves as soon as you type a face — no Enter needed after each digit.

sha256sum dice-seed-cli_0.3.1-linux.zip
Start on Ubuntu
- Extract the zip. Open the folder
dice-seed-cli-linux. - Right-click empty space → Open in Terminal.
- Run:
chmod +x start.sh && ./start.sh
Press Enter for a 24-word hardened seed. Roll a die. Type each face. Write the words on paper.
Inside the zip, sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS should print OK for every listed file.
Use it offline. Do not photograph the phrase. Restore it on a hardware wallet and check addresses before sending coins.
